Home Sweet Home
We first started by brainstorming ideas and the theme of our video. We story boarded and then went out to film people in different grades talk about their favorite things about ONW. We got lots of B roll shots of the school and the people in it.
While doing this I learned how to collaborate my ideas with the other people in my group. I also learned how to conduct an interview with people and get good sounds bytes from them.
This project was my first time using the 60D cameras so I had to learn how to use them and how to correctly focus and figure out what to focus on.
If i could do something different I would make sure the lighting is better before i shoot.
I would conduct the interviews the same because I got really good sound bytes.
I will use my new knowledge of different types of cameras in further projects.
I thought that your blog's layout was very easy to read and interesting. The background is very artsy!(: I thought you did a good job on your first video!
ReplyDeleteWhat else did you learn from this video?? Do you prefer the panasonic cameras over the 60/70D's? Lighting is an important aspect to any video so its great that you noticed what you could have done better. Over all this video is a good first video! I think you will improve a lot over the year!!
ReplyDeleteI think you did a really good job on this for it being your first video with the 60D's! There's a lot going on with those cameras but you have plenty of time to learn with them and get better with them. But for your very first video, you did great!
ReplyDeleteThis was a pretty dern good video considering this is your first with new equipment with previous experience with it. You'll definitely get better as time go's on (i hope). But what were some experiences you had trouble with and enjoyed. Overall good video and good work.
ReplyDeleteFor the first video of the year this was very well done, the difficulty of this video was very simple if ya know what i mean...haha that made no sense, im just filling up this space and making it look like i typed a lot. anyways well done on the video and your simple description.
ReplyDeleteI agree, this video was very well made. I enjoyed how you included interviews with actual students on how they felt about Northwest. Overall, very good!
DeleteI enjoyed the video a lot; I enjoyed the cinematography and the directing etc....
ReplyDeleteThe post itself didn't have a lot to it however, as it didn't offer much insight into the process or what was gleamed from making it.
This video ALMOST made me think i will miss northwest which is a big accomplishment so i give you props on that
ReplyDeleteu gotta kik?
